Rohit’s form has been a major concern for Team India. His miserable run began during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, where he managed only 31 runs from 5 innings. Following his poor display, he opted out of the final Test, and India eventually lost the series 1-3.
Hoping to regain form, Rohit played for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. However, his performance remained disappointing as he failed to make an impact in the match against Jammu and Kashmir.

Despite being one of India’s most reliable batters in the past, Rohit Sharma’s recent form has been concerning, with only 166 runs at an average of 10.37 in his last 16 innings and no fifty-plus scores across all formats in recent matches.
