The Kiwis showed incredible fortitude by pulling victory out of the jaws of defeat even though they were down. They astonished Indian fans with their incredible performance, which resulted in a historic series sweep.
Twitter was filled with both disappointment at India’s unexpected failure and respect for New Zealand’s skill and determination. Many praised the visitors’ outstanding performance, especially in light of India’s impressive home record.
A major turning point for New Zealand cricket, the 3-0 thumping demonstrated their increasing skill in the Test format. While the cricket community celebrated the Kiwis’ victory, the focus turned to India’s problems and the necessity of reflection before their next series.

– India needs to win BGT by at least 3-2 then Australia lose one Test vs SL.
– If India wins BGT by 4-1, 3-1, 4-0 then India will not be dependent on anyone & Qualify for WTC Final directly. pic.twitter.com/62VCGbmvSE

India fails to chase a target of 147 runs:
When New Zealand batted first, they scored 235 runs, with Will Young (71) and Daryl Mitchell (82) leading the way. Ravindra Jadeja held the visitors to a five-wicket total. Shubman Gill’s 90 and Rishabh Pant’s 60 helped India reply with 263 runs, gaining a 28-run advantage.
In the second innings, India’s bowlers then put on a spectacular display, dismissing New Zealand for 174 and establishing a goal of 147 runs. However, India lost five wickets for 29 runs as their pursuit collapsed. Although Rishabh Pant’s 64 sparked optimism, the momentum was undermined by his controversial expulsion.
The efforts of Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin were in futile as Ajaz Patel’s five-wicket haul sealed India’s doom. With a 25-run victory, New Zealand completed a historic 3-0 series thumping. While New Zealand’s tenacity was commended, India’s batting meltdown raised concerns. An important turning point in the visitors’ cricket history was reached with their incredible victory.
