After retaining their top-order batters Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, along with star spinner Rashid Khan for a hefty INR 18 crore on Deadline Day, the Gujarat Titans were expected to bolster both their batting and bowling line-ups.
GT made a splash by purchasing the English wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler for ₹15.75 crore and added significant firepower with pacers Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada for ₹12.25 crore and ₹10.75 crore, respectively.
On Day 2, GT continued to strengthen their squad by acquiring Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar for ₹3.20 crore, South African pacer Gerald Coetzee for ₹2.40 crore, and Anshul Kamboj for ₹1.30 crore. They also brought in Sai Kishore for ₹2 crore.
Additionally, GT secured Prasidh Krishna for ₹9.5 crore and added Mahipal Lomror (₹1.7 crore), Kumar Kushagra (₹65 lakh), Anuj Rawat (₹30 lakh), and Nishant Sindhu (₹30 lakh) to their roster. This strategic mix of experienced players and emerging talents makes GT a formidable team for the upcoming season.
