“Happy Birthday King” – Cricket Fraternity Celebrates Virat Kohli’s 33-Year-Old Birthday

Team India skipper Virat Kohli celebrates his 33rd birthday on Friday (November 5). The cricket fraternity including the likes of Irfan Pathan, Virender Sehwag among others came down to wish the talismanic run-scorer on this auspicious day.

Kohli was born on 5th November 1988 in Delhi and made his debut for India at the age of 19 against Sri Lanka in 2008. The Indian captain will look to make his birthday memorable with a superlative knock against Scotland on Friday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India will have to win both their remaining games by a massive margin to give themselves some hope of making it to the semifinal alongside Pakistan from Group 2.

Former all-rounder Irfan Pathan started the bandwagon of wishes. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Once a kind always a kind. Have a year full of joy and runs. Happy Birthday @iamVkohli.”

Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also posted a heartwarming birthday wish for Virat Kohli on Twitter. He wrote:

“Happy birthday brother @imVkohli. I wish you love, peace and happiness.. keep inspiring champion.. love always.”

Would love to have Virat Kohli in our dressing room after the match – Kyle Coetzer

Scotland skipper Kyle Coetzer has said that he would love to have the likes of Virat Kohli walk into the Scotland dressing room after the game to have a chat with his team.

“We would, they are excellent ambassadors of the game. We want our guys to speak to them, be it Kohli or Williamson or Rashid Khan. That is the only and best way to learn. We used to be able to do it in the pubs before, but now we cannot,ā€ Coetzer told ANI in an interview.

“The squad will learn from every experience. To get to play against the likes of India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh is just brilliant. It is a good experience playing against the best at the top level” he added.Ā

Scotland will play against Virat Kohli’s India on Friday in Dubai.
