India’s experienced All-rounder Hardik Pandya has returned to the top of the ICC T20I All-rounder Rankings list again. Diese achievement came in the wake of brilliant performances in the Four-Match-India-Series against the South African side.
Pandya has not only gotten past England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee to regain the No. 1 spot, but he continues to excel in all facets, whether it be bat, ball, or in the field on the international cricket arena.
Pandya’s ascend to the pinnacle level has enhanced the position of India in the ICC Ratings List even more. Furthermore, young talent Tilak Verma has jumped in the top 10 batters, and it again shows that India has a very talented and strong side in the T20I format.
As Pandya continues to set the pace for himself, so does India in light of the T20I International Cricket in the future. Varma, along with his experience, makes India’s T20I team ready for the challenges coming their way.
Hardik Pandya’s recent performance vs SA:
India dominated South Africa in the recently concluded 4-match series, winning by 3-1, and the all-round display of Hardik Pandya was crucial for the team’s success. In the second match, he also played an irresolute innings of 39, which was not out; he batted well and ensured India did not lose early wickets while they were struggling.
However, India went on to lose that game, but Pandya played a role, which ensured a decent total was set for the opposition. He displayed his finesse in the final and the series-deciding fourth game too by churning out a splendid and economical 1/8 in three overs.
Pandya thanked fans for their support after boasting figures that saw him retake the No. 1 position in the ICC men’s T20I all-rounder rankings.
This feat makes the second in the series of the Indian cricket icon reaching the pinnacle after hitting the charts earlier this year, following the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Pandya has continued performing well in T20I and put himself among the top all-rounders in the world presently.
