Renowned commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle have slammed people for partying in such crisis period wherein the mass is facing the consequences of the pandemic coronavirus. It has cost a lot of human life with China and Italy being the most affected countries. India has also registered more than 200 positive cases so far.

According to the World Health Organisation(WHO), there is 2,34.073, confirmed cases of coronavirus, and a death toll of 9840. The pandemic has affected over 177 countries. The virus has left its mark in India as well with 270 cases reported and a death toll of 5.

All the global events have been called off in the wake of the COVID-19, including many sporting events. BCCI has postponed the IPL 2020 until April 15 which was scheduled to commence from March 29th 2020.

There is rage of awareness propaganda followed among the media to aware the public about self-isolation and hygiene factors that need to be followed in order to combat the COVID-19 disease. Many renowned crickets like Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin has taken to social media to raise awareness amongst the masses to practise safety measures.

However, many citizens and renowned personalities have been careless in their approach by partying and not undertaking the required measures to combat the virus. Harsha Bhogle has blasted such individuals for being reckless in their attitude on the social media platform.

“It is so disappointing when so many people are trying so hard and stupid, literate people coming from infected areas go around partying. A million people can do right but it requires a few silly people to lose the fight. Let us stay vigilant. We are in this together,”- Harsha Bhogle said in a tweet.
