Sakshi Dhoni recently discussed the intriguing idea of her husband, MS Dhoni, venturing into acting during a press conference in Chennai. She mentioned that he would consider taking up acting roles if presented with an enticing script.
The occasion was centered around the promotion of Sakshi’s debut project as a producer, a Tamil film titled ‘LGM,’ featuring Harish Kalyan and Ivana.
While interacting with the media, she was asked about Dhoni’s interest in acting, to which she responded positively, stating that if a compelling and exciting script came his way, he would seriously contemplate the opportunity.
Having witnessed Dhoni’s comfortable presence in front of the camera, thanks to his involvement in numerous advertisements since 2006, Sakshi firmly believes that her husband is not camera-shy and possesses the ability to act convincingly.
She emphasized that should a truly impressive script be offered to Dhoni, especially one in the action genre, he might indeed take up the challenge.
It is noteworthy that ‘LGM’ itself is a production of Dhoni Entertainment, with a fresh talent at the helm – debutant director Ramesh Thamilmani. The film is set to hit theaters on July 28, eagerly anticipated by fans and film enthusiasts alike.
As for MS Dhoni’s cricketing ventures, he recently led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills even at the age of 42.
