4. Shonali Nagrani
Shonali Nagrani was the first lady to host IPL. She hosted the first season of the IPL. Besides this, she hosted several cricket shows like T20 world cup on ESPN-Star Sports.
She participated in Boss Season 5 and was one of the top 5 participants at the Femina Miss India Pageant in 2004. Her amazing personality and the gift of gab got her the golden chance to host IPL. The Delhi-born model, actress and TV presenter, Shonali was crowned the Femina Miss India International in 2003. Shonali has played cameo roles in a hit in some Bollywood movies like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Dil Bole Hadippa.
She started her cricket anchoring with Champions Trophy in 2006. She also has hosted the 2007 World Cup followed by ‘Stumped’- a joint broadcast by BBC India, Australia, and England. She went on to host 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and was later signed by ITV in 2011 for covering IPL where hosted IPL for four consecutive seasons alongside Matt Smith.
