The much anticipated Australian summer is here and the fans are so enthusiastic about the social media tweeting their predictions. The visitors would be certainly trying to replicate their 2016 magic of T20 Whitewash. However, Finch and his men are really determined to solve their middle order hassles and come out on the top.
Ahead of the first T20I at Brisbane, Virat Kohli shared his views on the series. He had already mentioned that the Indian side will never initiate sledging but wouldn”t stop if the opposition wishes to do so.
Speaking to the reporters Virat Kohli said “I don’t think anyone means to be at the centre of everything. All the noise from the outside, it’s as influencing as you want it to be and I usually stay away from all of this.(But) if the opposition are aggressive towards you then you will counter it.”
It is to be noted that there were several verbal exchanges between the sides in 2014-15 series. They also continued during the 2016 limited over series (Kohli – Faulkner). Speaking on the same Kohli added, ” We draw our own self-respect line and if we feel anyone crosses that line then we stand up for it.”
The Indian side failed miserably in longer formats at England earlier this year and the primary focus of men in blue would be to register their first victory at Australia since a decade. A lot of questions are yet to answer from both the sides and a visual treat awaits for a plethora of cricket fans from tomorrow.
