The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is off to an exciting start. The Afghanistan cricket team will be taking on Bangladesh in Match 3 of the tournament on Sunday, October 8 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. Bangladesh emerged as the winner in the recent Asia Cup match between the two teams.

The Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter averages 28.5 against Rashid and has a strike rate of 91.9.
Mohammad Nabi vs Shakib Al Hasan
Similarly, Mohammad Nabi has a great record against Bangladesh great Shakib Al Hasan. He has dismissed the all-rounder thrice in ODI cricket, conceding 58 runs in 11 matches. While Shakib doesn’t like to hold back, he has slammed two boundaries and three sixes against the spinner. It will be an interesting contest between the two veterans during the upcoming match.
Najmul Hossain Shanto vs Fazalhaq Farooqi
Najmul Hossain Shanto is the leading run-scorer for Bangladesh in One-Day Internationals this year. He has scored 698 runs at an average of 49.85, with two centuries and five fifties. He will hold the key in Bangladesh’s batting attack in the World Cup. It will be interesting to see how he plays against Fazalhaq Farooqi, who has picked 15 wickets this year for Afghanistan.
