India-Pakistan take on each other in their first Super 12 game later tonight in Dubai. The match also kickstarts their T20 World Cup campaign. India last won an ICC title back in 2013 while Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017 by beating India in the final. Meanwhile, Shoaib Akhtar has came cup with a cheeky response on what The Men in Green needs to win the game against their arch-rivals.
Talking to Sportskeeda, Shoaib Akhtar pointed out to the three things that Pakistan needs to do to stop India. All his three suggestions were funny ones adding a hilarious side to this otherwise heated rivalry. India have beaten Pakistan five times in ICC T20 World Cup competitions.
Give Sleeping Pills To India: Shoaib Akhtar
“Give sleeping pills to India first. Second, stop Virat Kohli from using Instagram for two days (chuckles). And third, ask MS Dhoni to not come to bat himself, I am telling you he’s still the most in-form batter” Akhtar suggested on a lighter note.

After seeing the funny side of it along with Harbhajan Singh, Shoaib Akhtar then gave his actual suggestions.
“Pakistan needs to open in a manner where you can get a good start. Then, Pakistan will have to avoid dot balls, play run-a-ball for 5-6 overs then take the strike rate up. And when it comes to bowling, if you have a good total, then make sure you are out there and take wickets” said the former Pakistan speedster.
Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh was then asked about the three things India needs to do to stop Pakistan from winning the contest. Maintaining the importance of the game, Bhajji put forward his three suggestions as well.
Harbhajan urged India to start the match well, be in the moment in the game and not to take any extra pressure of an India-Pakistan contest. India have won seven of their eight T20Is against Pakistan, with five of those coming at the World Cup.
