The pace bowling options comprise Musfitzur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Shak Mehedi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Shakib AL Hasan, and Tanvir Islam comprise good quality spin options included in the squad.

Bangladesh has been clubbed with the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and South Africa in Group D. They will begin their tournament against Sri Lanka at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas, Texas on 7th June.
Bangladesh will face South Africa in their next match in New York on 10th June. After this match, they would take on the Netherlands on 13th June at Arnos Vale Stadium, Kingstown, St Vincent.
Their last match of the group stage would be against Nepal on 16th June at Arnos Vale Stadium, Kingstown, St Vincent. This will be a tough challenge for the Bangladesh team as they would look to play positive cricket.
Bangladesh qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024 by finishing in higher rankings as of November 14th, 2022. They had a disappointing outing during the T20 World Cup 2022 played in Australia.
Bangladesh was clubbed with India, Pakistan, Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and South Africa in Group 2 of the Super 12 stage. They registered victories over Zimbabwe and the Netherlands while losing to India, Pakistan, and South Africa to be knocked out of the tournament.
Bangladesh would be hoping to register victories over the Netherlands and Nepal while looking for a good performance against Sri Lanka and South Africa to qualify for the Super 8 stage.
