Imad Wasim’s final appearance for the Pakistan National Cricket Team was in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Although he had previously announced his retirement from international cricket, the Pakistan Cricket Board persuaded him to reverse his decision and participate in the tournament alongside Mohammad Amir.

Imad Wasim made his comeback to the team just before the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, his second stint with the national team was less successful than his first, as he faced difficulties with both bat and ball in the matches he played.
