Contributions from young Indian players have helped the side to beat England in the 4th T20I and keep the series alive. India defended 185 as England fell short by eight runs to take the series into the decider on Saturday. Suryakumar Yadav scored a classy 57 to set up the game for India, which was capped off well by the likes of Rishabh Pant ( 30) and Shreyas Iyer (37). The Indian openers Rohit Sharma (12) and KL Rahul (14) failed to give their team a good start. The impetus to the innings was provided by Yadav on which Iyer and Pant capitalised. Surya was also adjudged as the Man of the Match for his efforts.
The dew factor played a big role behind the bowlers from both teams having problems gripping the ball. Jofra Archer picked up four wickets for just 33. Adil Rashid, Mark Wood, Ben Stokes and Sam Curran took one wicket each.

England lost Jos Buttler early in their quest to chase down 185. Jason Roy (40) came up with another useful contribution, but it was the partnership between Ben Stooesk (46) and Jonny Bairstow (25) that bought England back into the game.
Surya, Bowlers Keep Series Alive For India
Rahul Chahar first dismissed Bairstow in the 15th over. Then Shardul Thakur struck twice in the 17th over to turn the game again in India’s favour. He dismissed Stokes and Eoin Morgan of back to back deliveries and jolted the team’s momentum in the runchase. Both perished to big shots and were caught near the boundary line.
England still needed 46 runs from the last three overs after the fall of Stokes and Morgan. Shardul Thakur defended 23 in the final over as England fell short by eight runs in the end. Thakur ended with three wickets in his spell while Hardik and Chahar picked two each. The win helped India to come back in the series and set up a grand finale on the 20th.
Virat Kohli lauded the batting effort of Suryakumar and the bowling effort of Hardik and Shardul as India drew level into the series once again. Meanwhile, Morgan said that the wicket of him and Stokes falling on the same over was the turning point in the game.
