Suryakumar Yadav finally got his chance for redemption as he smashed a fifty on innings debut for India. After having not got the opportunity to bat in the 2nd T20I and then getting benched during the 3rd T20I for his IPL skipper Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai Indians cricketer made a mark in the 4th T20I in Ahmedabad.

After losing Rohit Sharma very early on in the innings, it was Suryakumar Yadav who was promoted to bat at three to which the Mumbai didn’t disappoint as the latter notched up a 31 ball 57 run knock as he was dismissed by Sam Curran with a controversial catch taken by Dawid Malan.
