India’s women under 19 team cricket next match is scheduled to play in the second round of ICC Under 19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 against the host Malaysia on January 21, 2025, Tuesday, at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia faced a poor start in the tournament, following a humiliating defeat against Sri Lanka by 139 runs. Sri Lanka made 162 for 6 in its 20 overs on the back of Dahami Sanethma’s 41 off 31 while Malaysia could manage only 23 for 5.
India, on the other hand, started their campaign with a resounding nine-wicket victory over West Indies. The Windies women were only able to score a basic total of 45 for India to chase, and the Indian women made a quick work of this scoring this target in only 4.2 overs. Parunika Sisodia, Aayushi Shukla, and Joshitha VJ got nine wickets between them.
India will be eyeing another big win over Malaysia to continue the momentum of dominating team performance. However, the hosts will be looking forward to ensuring a comeback and really posing a strong challenge to the Indian side.
