MI captain Rohit Sharma said: Not easy to digest the losses. It was not easy to score 10 per over on this surface. We did not captailze on the starts we got. This is the second or third time we have done in IPL 2018 so far. The batting team could have 20 more runs which would have been enough.
RR captain Rahane said: The bowlers did a brilliant job to restrict Mumbai Indians to just 167 after the start they got. Jofra Archer made his debut and bowled an impressive spell taking 3 wickets. Sanju Samson and Ben Stokes played well. K Gowtham played a gem of knock and took us to a great victory.
Man of the match Jofra Archer: Its good to be back on the park. They were going great guns and wanted to restrict them to a respectable total. The chase was tensed, but Gowtham was brilliant in the death and helped us for chasing 168 runs. We have the talent to put pressure on other teams and want to continue the momentum.
Rajasthan Royals won their 3rd match of the season with 6 points.
