Chennai Super Kings have started their net sessions since last week and the fans are enthusiastic as the franchise announced that free entry is allowed from gates 4,5 and 6at the chepauk to witness the same.
Meanwhile, the CSK players had a great ride from their hotel to the chepauk. The fans kept following them on the bikes and the players responded to their wishes by waving hands at them. The fans seemed to be welcoming the squad on their return after a couple of years.

Imran Tahir and Shane Watson joined the camp couple of days ago and engaged in the promotional activities. Faf du Plessis and Lungisani Ngidi are expected to join the squad in the next week as they are playing against the Australians in the controversial 4 match test series.

Harbhajan posted a video where the champion song is being played on the open bus and the players are showing “thumbs up” to him and the fans. Murali Vijay, Bravo, Karn Sharma, Manager Russell, Rayudu, and Tahir were spotted in the video.

Stephen Fleming, the coach of CSK was also shocked to see the overwhelming response from the Chennai crowd as they turned out in huge numbers just for a practice session. He said in his Twitter handle “Big crowd gathering just for training. So much excitement for the CSK fans”

They haven”t named a replacement for the injured NZ all-rounder Mitchell Santner and is expected to name it anytime soon.
