Not only on the field, but Chennai Super Kings franchise has been known for their philanthropic activities off the field as well. On Mayday, the management released the pictures of “Thala” Dhoni with the ground staff of Pune and Chennai which won several hearts across the social media.
The franchise yet again delighted the ground staff and the cheerleaders at the MCA stadium, Pune. The management aided the ground staff and their families by giving some cash awards.
The pics were posted by the Chennai franchise in their Twitter handle and this gesture is being appreciated by the fans across the world. Apart from this, Raina and Dhoni made sure to satisfy the Cheerleaders by clicking some pics with them.

It is to be noted that all the home games of Chennai Super Kings were shifted to Pune due to security concerns at Chennai on Cauvery issue. The Pune crowd supported endlessly and the fans from Chennai took the special train arranged by the management to cheer their men in yellow who made their return to the field after serving a ban for two years.

Chennai played Six matches at this venue and won five of them(The only loss coming against Mumbai). The ground has been a lucky charm for the franchise and the management thanked the crowd for turning out in huge numbers.
