The Rajasthan Royals are all set to take on the Kings XI Punjab at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium as two teams look to get their second win of the season on board here. It’s also going to be a contest between two batting sensations, It’s Sanju Samson vs KL Rahul as both batsmen have put up a stellar show in the previous game.

This game at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium is expected to be a high scoring affair just like the last game between CSK and RR where Rajasthan emerged winners. Since the boundaries at the historic stadium are short especially the straight boundaries, batsmen would look to go hard at the bowler’s as they would look to pose a high total batting first.

2. Mohammed Shami

The purple cap holder of this season is another player we just cannot miss watching. The fast bowler has been one of India’s most developed and constantly performing fast bowlers in the recent past.

His opening spell was of such top quality that Sunil Gavaskar went onto say that the fast bowler has the best bouncer in world cricket. Since Shami has been constantly picking wickets in every game, he’s one of the key players to watch for in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

3. Ravi Bishnoi

The young leg spinner who emerged from the U-19 World Cup has been in the talks since a while now. After getting picked by Kings XI Punjab in this year’s IPL auction, no one was quite sure how many games the latter would get picked in but as the season started he was included in the playing XI for the first game vs Delhi Capitals.

Subsequently, he also made it to playing Xi of the second where he stood out as a bowler picking three wickets for 34 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore which went on to contribute to the team’s win quite evidently.

4. KL Rahul

Let’s not forget the fact that KL Rahul now holds the record for the highest score by an Indian in the IPL after that century he scored against RCB. Leading from the side from the front, Rahul looks like a completely different player altogether and will be looking to lead Punjab to more such victories this season.

If we look at his statistics of the previous two years, KL Rahul has surpassed the 500-run mark in both seasons. His best season coming off in 2018 where he scored 683 runs which included 6 fifties.

5. Rahul Tewatia

Rajasthan Royals rolled out a surprise in the form of Rahul Tewatia the other against Chennai Super Kings. An old fashioned leg spinner who likes tweaking the ball in the air allowing it to pitch and turn had represented Kings Xi Punjab and Delhi Capitals.

But with Rajasthan Royals team management picking him over someone like Mayank Markhande sparked shock waves but in the proved them wrong putting up a strong performance at Sharjah.
