Kings XI Punjab made their first big buy in the IPL 2021 auction by buying Australian pacer Jhye Richardson for 14 crores. Dawid Malan was their first buy of the auction earlier in the day.
Dawid Malan was sold for his base price of 1.50 Crores to Kings XI Punjab.
Meanwhile, Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube was roped in by Rajasthan Royals for 4.40 crores. Lik Moeen Ali and Chris Morris, Dube was released by RCB ahead of the IPL 2021 auctions and now the other franchisees have benefitted from it.
