Royal Challengers Bangalore has roped in England all-rounder George Garton for the UAE leg of IPL 2021. His inclusion completes the list of overseas players that the franchise can have. This is their second overseas signing in recent times with the franchise adding Wanindu Hasaranga as replacement. Garton is a promising young all-rounder who bats left handed and bowls left arm.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s George Garton A Product Of U-19 Cricket
George Garton plays his domestic cricket for Sussex. He is a product of English U-19 cricket having played in the 2016 World Cup in Bangladesh. He was also called as a short-term cover ahead of the first 2017-18 Ashes Test.
Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was roped in by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the UAE leg of IPL 2021. He will join the side as Adam Zampa’s replacement. The franchise has also added Dushmanta Chameera and Singapore’s Tim David to their squad. RCB will resume their UAE leg by facing KKR in the first of their remaining seven games.
The Sri Lankan spinner expressed his excitement on Instagram after learning the news of his IPL signing. Wanindu Hasaranga revealed how he would watch RCB’s matches on TV at his home, and now, he is going to be a part of the RCB squad.

The franchise are placed third in the points table at the moment. They resume their UAE leg against KKR on September 20.
