The Kolkata Knight Riders are gearing up for the upcoming 2023 Indian Premier League season. Their pre-season camp got underway with the domestic players on Tuesday, February 22 in Mumbai. The much-awaited tournament will kick off on March 31, with Kolkata Knight Riders opening their campaign on April 1 against Punjab Kings.
The two-time IPL champions began training sessions on Tuesday, under their new coach Chandrakant Pandit. The Indian players, the likes of Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana, Varun Chakravarthy, N Jagadeeshan, and others joined the pre-season camp in Mumbai. On Tuesday, the franchise shared snaps from its first training session on Instagram. They wrote, “Here we go! 🤩 The #KKRAcademy Pre-Season Camp has begun! 🔥 #AmiKKR #IPL2023”
