Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants’ Gautam Gambhir got into a heated argument after Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2023.

In the midst of the commotion, Gambhir seemed more animated and was repeatedly stopped from charging Kohli. Players, Referees and other staff members from both teams separated the two.

The spinners of the Lucknow Super Giants performed admirably on the slow Ekana Cricket Stadium surface and severely hindered the Royal Challengers Bangalore heavyweight batsmen.
The trio of Faf Du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell carried a lot of weight for Bangalore. But other than captain Du Plessis, the other two struggled with the bat.
The target appeared to be a straightforward one for the home team. But their batting turned out to be terrible, especially considering that the target was so easy for them to reach. The three batsmen for LSG, Hazlewood, Hasaranga and Karn Sharma choked the Lucknow team as they attempted to chase down the target.
