Yuzvendra Chahal of the Rajasthan Royals believes that the Impact Player rule has benefited his team in the IPL 2023. While acknowledging that any player who could bat in his place would be of great assistance to the team, Rajasthan Royal’s leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal claimed that the Impact Player rule has worked wonders for his team in IPL 2023.
In light of RR’s successful IPL 2023 season, Chahal remarked that the Impact Player rule has enabled RR to improve their batting during significant chases. This year’s Impact Player rule in the IPL has divided viewers. Nevertheless, despite the hot and humid weather, it has enabled teams to rest their top players.
“It has benefited us because of how Dhruv (Jurel) and Dev (Devdutt Padikkal) have batted. It’s a plus because a bat is useless on my hands. Chahal said, “It helps when you are chasing a big total and an extra batter gets added, which is a plus point,” prior to RR’s matchup with the Lucknow Super Giants”.
“I’m pleased because this is a larger ground, said Chahal, a spinner. ” Chahal opened up about his bowling and the fact that he bowls with Adam Zampa and Ravichandran Ashwin, noting that they get along well after playing the previous two games together”.
This year, I’m primarily motivated by the trophy rather than just the Purple Cap, Yuzvendra Chahal said.
Along with Mark Wood of the Lucknow Super Giants and Rashid Khan of the Gujarat Titans, Chahal, who earned the Purple Cap in IPL 2022 after taking 27 wickets, has tallied 11 victories so far this season.
Chahal has been changed twice in five games. The Royals are preparing for their opening match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
