Ireland will take on South Africa in the third and final T20I at the Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast on July 24.
Ireland is trailing 2-0 in the three-match series. In the second ODI, they won the toss and asked South Africa to bat first. The Proteas were once reeling for 51/4 but on the back of David Miller’s 75 and Wiaan Mulder’s 36 they managed to score a respectable 159 at the loss of seven wickets.
Paul Stirling and Mark Adair picked two wickets each for Ireland. In reply to South Africa’s 159, the Irish batting order collapsed for 117 handing South Africa 42 runs victory. Bjorn Fortuin and Tabraiz Shamsi lead the South African bowling line-up as they bagged three wickets each.

The Proteas will start the match as favorites, but with the talent that Ireland possesses, they should not be taken lightly. Andy Balbirnie and Harry Tector will hold key to Ireland’s comeback in the series.
