Ishan Kishan has been named the skipper for the warm-up match against South Africa A. The youngster who proved his mettle in this edition of IPL had already led India Under 19 in 2016. Though India ended as runners-up, his opening blitz with Rishabh Pant in the tournament was appreciated by critics and experts.
India A will play South Africa and Australian “A” teams next month. The Indian side is really on a song post-ODI series triumph at England which boosted the confidence in the camp.
Ishan Kishan earned a call-up to the tour as Sanju Samson failed to clear the Yo-Yo Test. The likes of Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal were highly spoken for their consistency in the opening slot.

A third string Board Presidents squad has been announced by BCCI today for the warm-up fixture. The squad includes the likes of Avesh Khan, Shivam Mavi and Ishan Porel. The former was known for his appreciable performances for the Daredevils while the latter ones played a vital role in clinching the Under 19 cup this year.
The match will be played at Belgaum, Karnataka from July 30. It is to be noted that South Africa A will play a two-match test series and a triseries including Australia A in the month of August.
