Team India cricketer Rishabh Pant’s latest Instagram story has become the talk of the town on social media. He took a dig at actress Urvashi Rautela after she revealed a story involving him in of her interviews. The said interview went viral on social media, leading to many speculations. Rishabh Pant took to his Instagram account to share a cryptic message for the actress.
In 2018, rumors surfaced about Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela after the two were photographed by the media on various occasions when they would go out for lunch. Later the media reported that Rishabh had blocked Urvashi on Whatsapp. Some media houses also stated that it was a mutual decision between the two to block each other.
However, Urvashi Rautela’s recent interview with Bollywood Hungama has again brought the incident to the fore. She recalled an incident where she spoke about a person, “Mr. RP”, choosing to not reveal his real identity. However, the fans were quick to assume that the actress was referring to Rishabh Pant as Mr. RP.
In her interview, Urvashi Rautela revealed that Mr. RP came to meet her in a hotel where she was staying, however, due to her busy schedule she could not meet him. Urvashi added that they later decided to meet in Mumbai. However, when they did, the media clicked pictures of the together, which led to a lot of speculations about their relationship. She blamed the media for making exaggerating the incident.

Rishabh Pant’s cryptic Instagram story
Reacting to Urvashi Rautela’s interview, Rishabh Pant took to his Instagram to take a dig at the actress, without naming her. Clearing the air around the story, he claimed it to be false. Rishabh Pant accused the actress of lying to get attention and popularity. However, he has now deleted the Instagram story.
“It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them. #merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai,” Pant posted.
Rishabh Pant will next be seen in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 tournament. India will begin their campaign against Pakistan on August 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
