Jasprit Bumrah has been India's go-to bowler ever since he bursts onto the international circuit. With his deadly yorkers and deceptive slowers, Bumrah became a crowd's favourite and a lethal weapon for the Men in Blues in no time. The young fast bowler recently got candid during an interview and revealed the favourite moment of his career.
After making inroads for the Mumbai Indians side in the Indian Premier League, Jasprit Bumrah was drafted into the Indian side for a limited-overs series against Australia in 2016. The cricketer from Gujarat earned his Test cap during the South Africa tour in 2018 and immediately shattered records with his outstanding display of bowling.

Although early in his career, the young pacer has made a different identity for himself and has been the No. 1 bowler in the ICC Rankings for a long period of time. When asked about the favourite story, Jasprit Bumrah shared an interesting story from the tour of England in 2018 where he fooled Keaton Jennings with a beautiful inswinger.
“That was the only time I was listening to what the experts were saying. Not about me, but about what the England team should do. They were saying that he only bowls the outswingers (to the left-hander). So I thought that if they are listening, if the England players are listening, then I’m in the game because I have the away-swingers as well,” Bumrah said, grinning when asked about his most memorable spell.
“Keaton Jennings was leaving the ball continuously. As soon as the ball was near the middle or off stump, he knew that the ball will go away with my angle( from over the wicket). I thought he’s listened to the commentary, and that he will leave anything outside off-stump. I thought I’ll show him that I am still trying to do the same thing and then bowl the inswinger. I was sure he wouldn’t be expecting, just that I have to be on the right length. He didn’t even know… He left the ball and was plumb in front,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah had a difficult run in the limited-overs series against New Zealand. He returned wicketless for the first time in his international career during the three-match ODI series, where India suffered a clean sweep. He has also started the Test series on a similar note and remained wicketless on the second day before breaking the shackles on day three.
