Australia wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis has been taken to a local medical facility in Sydney after sustaining a hand injury while playing golf. The development comes only a few days ahead of the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
The incident took place on Wednesday morning when players were given a morning off to relax before their crucial training session on Thursday. Australia are to play their opening T20 World Cup pool match against New Zealand at Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday, October 22.

Josh Inglis, who was in Australia’s 15-member squad as a reserve wicketkeeper-batter, copped up the injury while on a morning round with some of his teammates.
