Joshua Little picked up the second hat-trick of the tournament against New Zealand at the Adelaide Oval on Friday, November 4. This is a historic moment in Irish cricket as they are the first team to have two bowlers taking a hat-trick at the T20 World Cup. The previous edition saw Curtis Campher pick one up versus the Netherlands.
Little’s hat trick included the scalps of the well-set Kane Williamson followed by Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner. Both Neesham and Santner were adjudged LBW for golden ducks. This hat trick saved 20-30 runs given the Kiwis were batting.
Let’s look at some Twitter reactions to this magnificent feat achieved by Joshua Little:

Hat-trick to end an outstanding World Cup for Josh Little: 7-59 from 11 overs against England, Australia and New Zealand.
Aged 23, with left-arm angle, height, swing and ability to bowl over and around – and in all 3 phases – will get plenty of chances in T20 leagues
