The Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024 began on Saturday, November 30 with Janakpur Bolts defeating Biratnagar Kings in style by eight wickets in the inaugural league match, which took place at Kirtipur, Nepal. The second match of the tournament is going to be played between Kathmandu Gurkhas and Chitwan Rhinos.
NPL 2024 is played by eight teams under the Cricket Association of Nepal Cricket and has a total of 32 T20 cricket matches. The team competition of the first NPL consists of the Janakpur Bolts, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, and Sudurpaschim Royals.
The event will be an opportunity to witness Nepalese players in their preparation for a strong cricket tournament in the T20 format.
