Hardik Pandya has been in the form of his life right from the Champions Trophy earlier this year in England. He has been a consistent performer throughout the Sri Lanka and Australia series which earned him the man of the series award in a 4-1 series win against the Australian side.
Pandya made his test debut in Sri Lanka earlier this year and was quick to make his mark scoring a fifty in his debut match followed by a brilliant hundred. Pandya has been a very useful addition to this Indian set up and is highly regarded for his all-around abilities.
The all-rounder from Baroda earned heaps of praise from all over the world for his hard-hitting capabilities and playing his own game which included his own brother and Mumbai Indians teammate Krunal Pandya.
The senior of the Pandya brothers in a social media post revealed how the younger brother kept his promise he made to him before the start of the much-awaited series.
Krunal from his official twitter handle posted a picture of his brother with all the trophies he received after the convincing series win against the Aussies. HE captioned the picture with, “Just before the #INDvAUS series, @hardikpandya7 told me he will set the stage on fire & today I can proudly say, “you did it… and how!”????”

The two brothers are known to share a very close bond. While Hardik’s career has taken an upward shift since the last two years, Krunal is yet to make his ODI and Tests debut. However, he is an integral member of the India A side and has played a crucial role for Mumbai’s in this year’s Indian Premier League.
In the recently concluded ODI series against Australia Hardik was the third highest run-getter as well as the third highest wicket-taker for India. The team India skipper Virat Kohli showed a lot of faith in his abilities promoting him up in the batting order.
