After a convincing win in the Qualifier 1, Mumbai Indians cricketers Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Krunal Pandya were up for a lively chat where Bumrah was seen making fun of Krunal. Incidentally, the defending champions scripted a 57-run win to cruise through to IPL 2020 finals.
Batting first, Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav’s flurry start set the tone for Mumbai Indians in the Qualifier 1. Despite losing skipper Rohit Sharma, they kept up the tempo keeping Delhi Capitals bowlers at bay. However, they bounced back scalping three wickets in quick time but Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan’s late flourish guided Mumbai to 200.
While it looked like a difficult run chase, the first two overs in the second half put Delhi out of the race. They were reduced none for three thanks to a brilliant display of fast bowling from Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah. They tried to fight back courtesy Marcus Stoinis and Axar Patel but Bumrah’s tally of four wickets pushed Shreyas Iyer & Co completely out of the game.
