Cricketer Manoj Tiwary was quick enough to react after the squads for the Duleep Trophy were out. The Bengali cricketer isn”t satisfied over his snub from the tournament and demanded a reason for the same.
Tiwary highlighted his records over the years in domestic formats and questioned why he isn”t considered. He was also perplexed even after scoring centuries against quality bowling attacks in domestic format, why he is still out of the team?

Manoj Tiwary shared his views on his official twitter handle. He said that he needs a proper explanation for this and took a dig whether switching teams in the near future might aid the inclusion.
Then accordingly will plan before a new season. I see few players got picked in this Duleep trophy team by turning out 4 new teams last year which includes Sikkim, Arunachal, Nagaland etc. Is it quantity over quality ?? If that’s the case then I wud prefer goin 2 those team and

The IPL Snub
This isn”t the first time Manoj Tiwary has expressed his disappointment over his rejection. Even in IPL 2019 auctions, he wasn”t picked by any franchise. He enjoyed a stellar season with Supergiants in 2017. Additionally, he played his part with Kings XI Punjab (2018) season. However, those weren”t enough to convince the eight franchises in 2019.
Reports even emerged that he was added as a part of the Delhi Daredevils side. Eventually, those rumors were thrashed by him.
All eyes on the BCCI officials on how will they respond to his exclusion and whether any explanations will be given.
