Mohammed Shami, an Indian pacer, issued a strong warning to anyone who associated him with tennis player Sania Mirza. Following Sania Mirza’s divorce with Pakistani batter Shoaib Malik, Shami was recently connected to the latter’s marriage. Even though cricket players are occasionally connected to other famous people, Shami flatly refuted the reports.
The media’s attention has shifted from Hardik Pandya’s divorce to another Indian cricket player, Mohammed Shami, who is suspected of dating tennis pro-Sania Mirza. When phony images of the two of them appeared on social media, Mohammed Shami decided to speak out about the issue.
Former Pakistan captain and all-rounder Shoaib Malik, who got married to Sana Javed a second time, was divorced by Sania.
Before divorcing one another, Sania and Shoaib had an alienated relationship for over a year. There were rumors that Sania Mirza wed Mohammed Shami for the second time since the former world no. 1 doubles player had been unmarried since divorcing Shoaib Malik.
“It is weird and done purposely for some lame fun”- Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami mentioned on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast that the rumors about his marriage to Sania Mirza were strange and he asked people not to propagate false information. He went on to say that while memes could be entertaining, they can also be dangerous.
“It is weird and done purposely for some lame fun. But what can be done? If I open my phone, then I can see those memes. But I would only like to say I think that memes are made for fun, but if they are related to someone’s life, then you must think about it and then share such things. These people share from unverified pages and get away by saying anything and everything,” Mohammed Shami said.
“But I would like to say one thing – if you have the guts to say all these things from a verified page, then I will reply. Try achieving success, help people and upgrade yourself then I will believe that you are a good person.” Mohammed Shami added.
Mohammed Shami was the most successful wicket-taker with 24 scalps from seven matches at the 2023 ODI World Cup in India when he was last seen in action.
