Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Rawat were recently seen at an event with Renowned Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon. The legendary cricketer from Ranchi last played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2024, held in May.
Dhoni stepped down as captain after leading CSK to a title victory in 2023, passing on the leadership to Ruturaj Gaikwad to focus on the team’s future. However, the transition was not entirely successful, as CSK failed to secure a playoff spot in IPL 2024.
Following his IPL campaign, Dhoni has been enjoying family time and attending both public and private events in recent months. A user on X recently shared a picture showcasing Dhoni’s latest appearance with his wife Sakshi and actress Kriti Sanon, who recently featured in the Bollywood film *Do Patti*.

“I have never come across a leader like him” – LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka on MS Dhoni
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Dr. Sanjiv Goenka recently lauded MS Dhoni’s exceptional leadership skills, highlighting his talent for transforming young players into match-winners, with Matheesha Pathirana as a prime example. Speaking on the ‘TRS Podcast,’ Goenka shared his deep admiration for Dhoni and remarked:
“You look at MS Dhoni, I have never seen a leader like him. His thinking and way of approach, how a person at his age can reinvent himself. Look at Pathirana, he is a young bowler, Dhoni groomed him to be a lethal matchwinner. He knows how to use his players when and he thinks accordingly.”
In the same discussion, Goenka shared a story about Dhoni and his grandson, stating:
“Whenever I interact with him, I get to learn something. It was during the Lucknow vs Chennai match. I have an 11-year-old grandson who is crazy about cricket. Dhoni in my home taught him how to play cricket, some 5-6 years ago. He constantly asked him questions and I told my grandson ‘Leave him now’. Dhoni replied ‘Let it be, I am enjoying this conversation.”
