Watch – ‘Chal Ja Wapas’, MS Dhoni Brushes Aside Deepak Chahar’s Plea To Take DRS

MS Dhoni Deepak Chahar DRS

MS Dhoni is known to have the most precise judgment when it comes to taking the Decision Review System (DRS). Today when Deepak Chahar wanted Dhoni to go upstairs for the DRS he quickly said no and suggested him to go back to his bowling mark quickly.

The CSK fast bowler Chahar bowled brilliantly tonight as he found swing on the usually batting-friendly batting pitch. Chahar was animated when he pinned PBKS batsman Shahrukh Khan on the backfoot and immediately started celebrating as he thought he was out LBW.

However, when the umpire didn’t raise his finger Chahar was seen trying to influence Dhoni and telling him to go for DRS. Nonetheless, Dhoni is completely different from the rest of the captain as he trusts his own instincts when it comes to DRS rather than trusting his bowlers and fielder.

The CSK immediately knew that the impact was on the higher side and at best it would have been the umpire’s call and indicated to Chahar to get back to bowling again. The replays proved Dhoni was right and he once again showcased why DRS sometimes is also known as the ‘Dhoni Review System’.

Meanwhile, that was the only instance in the match when Chahar wasn’t at his best in the match against PBKS in today’s IPL match. The fast bowler otherwise was spot on with his bowling tonight as he picked 4 wickets and gave away just 13 runs and played a key role in restricting PBKS to only 107 after 20 overs. Coming back to Dhoni his epic reactions while turning down Chahar’s plea of DRS was captured on camera and here’s the video of it.
