Former India skipper MS Dhoni has had a rollercoaster ride in international cricket. Very few would have believed that cricketer from Jharkhand will make this far when he made his debut. He is one of the best finishers to don the India jersey and is also arguably the greatest skipper.
However, back in 2004, when Dhoni made his debut, he had a lot of flaws. He worked upon his game and ironed the faults which he had in his game. Former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More, while talking to Indiatoday.in, recalled how Dhoni had some issues when he started out but worked very hard to overcome all of them.

“We saw the talent in him. But his ability to work hard and improve made him what he is. He had some problems when he started out. Questions were asked about his wicket-keeping skills. However, he worked very hard on his game and kept getting better with every game,” Kiran More said.
Meanwhile, a lot has been spoken over MS Dhoni’s retirement.  Dhoni went on a sabbatical after India’s ouster from the ICC World Cup 2019 losing to New Zealand in the semifinals. While the entire country has been debating about his return and subsequent retirement, MS Dhoni has remained mum and has enjoyed the holiday taking part in various activities.

He returned to training in the first week of March, to gear up for the 13th edition of IPL. But now with the IPL postponed amid the outbreak of COVID-19, MS Dhoni’s return to the national side looks in jeopardy.
