Mystery spinners are always a priority in the cricketing world and Afghanistan also have a tradition of delivering this cricketer class, as Allah Ghazanfar is the newly discovered spinner of Afghanistan.
A recent newcomer to the Indian team, the young spinner aged 18 years has the potential of reaching 6’2 and was also bought by the Mumbai Indians in the IPL mega auction that was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, recently. Many cricket enthusiasts have been with high anticipation waiting to see Ghazanfar play after this great acquisition.
On Saturday, Angad Ghazanfar showcased his prowess in cricket by playing for Team Abu Dhabi in the T10 league. His bowling has stirred great interest among fans and lovers of cricket, who are in high acclaim for him as the next thing for mystery spin bowls.
Ghazanfar is a cricketer with the potential of Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad, who are now the popular cricketers in the cricket world. Apart from his unorthodox bowling action and tall figure, Ghazanfar will surely be a great bowler in the coming years.
Allah Ghazanfar plays 4 matches in 3 days:
The 18-year-old Afghan spinner Allah Ghazanfar has shown his incredible adaptability by playing in two distinct tournaments in two days. On Friday he was playing for the Afghanistan U19 team in the continental under-19 men’s Asia Cup in Dubai, where he bowled quite economically and took 1/25 in ten overs. With some skill, he kept Bangladesh U19 down to 228/9 after that his side failed by 45 runs.
Ghazanfar was back in business the very next day representing Team Abu Dhabi in the T10 League where he bowled two overs and conceded 10 runs.
This continuity between formats also reveals the progression of maturity that Ghazanfar is bringing into this show. The highest ODI bowler to date, Ghazanfar, has captured 6 wickets for 26 runs against Bangladesh and performed consistently to defeat South Africa in a series.
