Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 27 at the Brabourne Stadium. After a below-par season in IPL 2021, Mumbai will hope bounce back in the upcoming season.
MI retained captain Rohit Sharma, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, all-rounder Kieron Pollard and batsman Suryakumar Yadav at the auction. They broke the bank to resign Ishan Kishan to the team to retain their core group.
Besides, they have roped in celebrated T20 all-rounder Tim David along with Tymal Mills, and Fabian Allen to strengthen their lower middle-order. They also have some young and exciting Indian talents in their squad.
