Rahul Dravid Cred Ad

Former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid’s recent ad has taken social media by storm. He features in the new app for CRED which is an app for playing credit card bills. The ad shows an angry side to the otherwise calm and composed Dravid. It is his ‘angry young man’ image that has become a huge hit among his fans. The advertisement showed a never-seen side of the batting legend’s personality as he is seen losing his cool in it.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has taken a leaf out of that advertisement and used it for generating awareness against COVID. The ad also features Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh who is speaking about the uselfulness of playing bills on the CRED app. He also speaks about how easily can people earn cash backs through the app and compares it to Rahul Dravid’s anger issues.

“When you pay your Credit Cards bills on CRED, you earn CRED coins. Use them to claim cashback and rewards. I know this sounds ridiculous. It is like saying Rahul Dravid has anger issues.” Following that, Dravid took the centre stage and left the world surprised by hilariously losing his cool and shouting at others in the middle of a traffic jam.

Before the start of the IPL 2021 season, Dravid spoke about how data provided in cricket should drive a good contest between bat and ball.
