CSK team captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was present at a fan engagement program at Bengaluru where he enjoys mimicking and joking around. But the show unexpectedly got incredible when the microphone on the stage failed and the crowd had a good laughter.
The viral moment injected some hilarious and cheeky element into one of the oldest rivalries that have been existing between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL. The clash between CSK and RCB had always been a fierce one, and it became even more bitter this year when the RCB denied CSK entry into the IPL 2024 playoffs.
However, it is worth mentioning that even though the teams compete against each other, there is room for humor like when Ruturaj Gaikwad started clowning on stage. It was moment to come closer to the CSK captain and spend time with him is always a good thing and so it became an enjoyable one for all.

The audience cheered loudly as the anchor greeted CSK team captain Ruturaj Gaikwad warmly as he took the platform. Gaikwad tried to reply, but his microphone malfunctioned. In jest, the anchor asked the sound engineer, “How can you turn off Ruturaj’s mic?” Gaikwad’s witty comment, “Might someone from RCB,” stole the show. His lighthearted reply caused the audience to burst out laughing. This humorous moment’s video went viral very fast.
Despite the lighthearted banter, Gaikwad is nonetheless focused on his next obligations. Maharashtra will be led by the CSK captain in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024–2025. His team, who is in Group B, will play their first game on Saturday, December 21, against Rajasthan.
