The claims of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) suggesting an offshore T20I series against India have been denied. The board’s primary concern is the Champions Trophy’s seamless operation.
According to sources, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi discussed the prospect of a T20I series in an offshore location with BCCI officials. PTI claims that the PCB is only considering hosting the ICC event in February of next year, hence, no offers are being considered at this time.
“There is no such proposal on the table or under consideration because right now the biggest challenge for us is to organize the Champions Trophy in a befitting manner and we also have a packed international schedule,” a highly reliable source said.
