A picture of former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s wax statute in Karnataka’s Mysore has gone viral on the internet. It was unveiled in Chamundeshwari Wax Museum to honor the veteran cricketer.
Dhoni is one of India’s most celebrated cricketers on planet. On August 15, 2020, he announced his retirement from international cricket. However, he still represents the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
He is the first captain to win the Champions Trophy 2013, 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007. The cricketer from Ranchi has won many laurels for his country, including making a top-ranked side in Test cricket.
Meanwhile, the wax statue has garnered mixed reactions from fans all across the globe. Many fans stated that it is this mix of Ranbir Kapoor and M.S Dhoni, whereas some said Chapri M.S Dhoni, and the tweet went on.

MS Dhoni has been seen taking part in business activities at various public events these days. Last month, he was seen playing golf with veteran cricketer Kapil Dev in Gurugram. The two also participated in the 2022 US Open together in New York.
Dhoni will return back to cricketing action in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The CSK legend had confirmed last season that he plans not to call it quits before playing for the Chepauk crowd in Chennai.
“Definitely. It’s a simple reason: it will be unfair to not play in Chennai and say thank you [to the fans]. Mumbai is one place where, as a team and as an individual, I have got a lot of love and affection. But it wouldn’t be nice to the CSK fans,” MS Dhoni had said during the toss of CSK’s last league game in 2022.
