The much-anticipated test series between India and England is all set to begin from August 1. Verbal wars have already started as Anderson had his say on the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The Indian test specialists Ashwin, Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Pujara and Bumrah had reached the country yesterday and the camp is now complete with their arrival.
The Worcestershire connect
Meanwhile, Worcestershire County club has announced that Ashwin will be a part of the squad for the final campaigns against Yorkshire and Essex.
Ashwin was signed by the Worcestershire County club last year and he created a major impact in the squad. Picking over 20 wickets and averaging 42 with the bat, he fitted well in the squad and the camp is all smiling after this signing.

When?
Ashwin will join Worcestershire side post-five-match test series and it will be a quite longer stay for the 31-year-old at England. He will be replacing South African all-rounder Wayne Parnell as their overseas player.

Spin Trio
The Indian spin department now looks strong with the likes of the trio Ash, Jaddu and Kuldeep. The selection vows continue to haunt the skipper as only one or two will be considered from the above trio in the pace-friendly conditions at England. A couple of days ago, The master blaster Sachin had advised the team to “respect” the conditions and play the game with immense tranquillity in their minds.
India will play a four-day practice game against Essex from Wednesday (July 25). The camp will be looking to sort out all the selection issues by doing the possible shuffling in the game.
Can Ashwin turn out to be the trump card for the team? Will he bat higher the order if selected? Only time will tell.
