The left arm spinner talked about Dhoni’s love for bikes and how the wicketkeeper came to his rescue. Just when Jaddu was in need of an advice Dhoni came up to help him.
“He told me that ‘Hayabusa is a good bike, but you need to do some exercises of the back to drive it because you need to bend a lot while driving it,”Jaddu said.
Ravindra Jadeja has revealed that he would like to go on a horse ride with his former skipper and teammate Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
“He has so many bikes that even he doesn’t know about their number. Earlier, he must not be getting the time to drive them, but now that he’s retired from Test cricket, he must be getting some time to drive them,” Ravindra Jadeja added.
Jadeja expressed his wish of going on a horse ride with Dhoni, however. “More than a bike, I’ll be keen to go horse riding with him,” he said.
Ravindra Jadeja was blessed with a baby girl in June when he was playing the Champions Trophy. After the Champions Trophy, India had a brief tour of the West Indies. It was only after the WI tour that Jaddu was able to spend some quality time with his daughter.
Ravindra Jadeja also talked about the feeling of becoming a father. He said, “It was a different feeling. I went ‘blank’, actually. I feel I have the additional responsibility now. As of now, I’m not realizing anything, but as I spend more time with the baby, I’ll get more attached. My wife says that my daughter is as full of energy as me. She’s only one-month old but is already active like a six-month old child. I don’t think I’ve to get a DNA test done for her,” Jadeja quipped.
Indian team plays Sri Lanka in 3 tests, 5 ODIS and a T20I, the tour commencing on 26 July.
