The Indian cricket team is on a 20-day break before the five-match Test series against England, starting from August 4. The players are making the most of this break time by visiting tourist attractions in the UK. Wicket-Keeper Batsman Rishabh Pant decided to catch up on some Euro 2020 matches. He turned up at Wembley on Tuesday to watch the Round of 16 clash between England and Germany.
Rishabh shared a series of photographs from the match on his Instagram and captioned it as ” Good experience watching ⚽️”
Rishabh Pant keen to redeem himself in the five-match Test series against England
The Indian Cricket Team is in the UK for nearly more than a month to play the World Test Championship Final and the Test series against England.
India lost the rain-marred World Test Championship final by eight wickets against New Zealand. Rishabh Pant scored 41 in the second innings, but it was not good enough for the team. New Zealand chased down 139 runs with the help of a 96-run partnership between Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor.
After the World Test Championship final loss against New Zealand, the Indian Team will be eager to get over the loss and play against England. A five-match Test series will take place between the two sides, starting from August 4.
This will be India’s first series in the next World Test Championship Cycle 2021-2023. India will also face Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka as part of the championship.
