
India cricketer and Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag received a signed jersey from West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen ahead of the Indian Premier League 2026 season, which will start on March 28.
On Friday, March 13, the Instagram account @plforindia shared a post showing Parag and Bowen together. In one photo, Bowen was holding Parag’s India jersey, while Parag had the West Ham jersey. Bowen also wrote a personal message on the jersey, wishing Parag good luck for the upcoming IPL season.

West Ham United have been struggling in the ongoing 2025–26 Premier League season and are currently in 18th place with 28 points from 29 matches. They will next play against Manchester City on Sunday, March 15 (IST) at the London Stadium. Meanwhile, their captain Jarrod Bowen has played in every match so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.

The Indian Premier League 2026 will mark a new beginning for Riyan Parag, as he takes on his first full season as captain of the Rajasthan Royals. During the 2025 season, he led the team in eight matches when Sanju Samson was unavailable, winning two games and losing six.
On March 11, the schedule for the first phase of IPL 2026 was announced. The Royals will play four matches during this period. They will start their campaign against Chennai Super Kings on March 30 in Guwahati. After that, they will face Gujarat Titans on April 4 in Ahmedabad. Their next two matches will be against Mumbai Indians on April 7 and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 10, both in Guwahati.
