In the latest ICC T20 batsmen rankings, the star Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma achieved his best ever rankings. The other Indian included in ICC T20 rankings is KL Rahul.
Pakistan Babar Azam and Australia’s Aaron Finch retained their respective number 1 and 2 positions. Babar Azam performed brilliantly in the recently concluded T20I series against New Zealand. Aaron Finch will be looking to perform brilliantly in one-off T20I against South Africa.
New Zealand hard-hitting batsman Collin Munro jumps 1 place up to number 3rd. India’s sensation KL Rahul dropped down 1 place to number 4th after a poor T20I series against West Indies.
Fakhar Zaman maintains his number 5th rank position. Glenn Maxwell jumps one place up to number 6th place. He played well in the 2nd T20I match against Pakistan.
Rohit Sharma who is the only batsman to score 4 centuries in T20I cricket, moves up to his career-best rankings of 7th. He made 111 off 61 balls during the 2nd T20I played at Lucknow.
Martin Guptill drops down to number 8th as he did not play in the recently concluded T20I series against Pakistan. Alex Hales also has slipped to 9th while Jason Roy also moves down to number 10th.
In the bowling department, Kuldeep Yadav moves to 23th in bowlers rankings. The Chinamen bowler was a man of the series during the recently concluded T20I series against West Indies. Yuzvendra Chahal remains static at number 4th.
In the team rankings, Pakistan has gained 2 points after 3-0 whitewash against New Zealand while India gained 3 points with a whitewash against West Indies.
